The Ugly Gash

Poor little Harvey (the RV) got picked on yesterday. There he was, minding his own business behind our garage in the podiatry parking lot when, unprovoked, a mean ol’ minivan clocked his jowl when he wasn’t looking. This left behind a 2-foot flesh-wound and a dented door to the generator.

Currently he’s resting at the RV hospital after sustaining a concussion and will not be accepting visitors at this time. Cards and flowers are welcome (he could use some living decor). I’m not sure how many stitches he needs yet but hopefully he’ll be on the mend in no time. He didn’t deserve this and I wish I moved him sooner before the clinic got busy. I was amazed at his resilience and his ability to limp along to receive his care, proof that he’s battle-ready come May. He needs to hurry home though as he still has more work to do (i.e. hold more stuff) before the big trip!
